IT

If there is one thing that I've established from this excursion it is that I will DEFINITELY NOT be doing anything IT related in the future. I started off baddd, my stupid dum dum train arrived 15min later at central than it was supposed to, so I had to end up sprinting madly around the city trying to find the poo in the sky looking UTS building. Oh well at least it was free, although the train ticket cost me $4.60 T_T. All the guides were females, which was probably to prevent us from thinking that IT is for stereotypical dorky asian males with bulky glasses, plays games at age 30 all day and have no social lives, who make up like 90% of the IT industry (but we all know it's true). Basically we did some java and website scripting on these UTS computers which was a major downer, but we did get to see some whizz bang apple technology, in the apple store while window shopping. And i am happy to say that today I became one of those privileged people to touch and play with and ipad =D. Oh and I find it mildly amusing seeing a computer room with a bunch of geeky asians playing some sort of online game together (probably the only socialising they do) while our guide explains how they have so many facilities for their students to use for studying purposes.

Today I also went to morning glory for like the first time, never have i seen so many fobby asian girls in one place at the same time, and I'm thinking that Morning Glory is probably one of the few places where you can get giant dollops of poo shaped plushy toys.
