Daniel feels -pleasantly surprised- about the science excursion at the university of Sydney. First of all we had a tour of USYD and I have to admit it was quite... grand. From the sandstone, classic styled buildings to the extremely well kept green lawns and the spacious interior. It is so big it is even considered it''s own suburb =S. Biology was actually quite fun, we dissected a Bull's eye (=D), extracted DNA from strawberries and used epilepsy causing flashing lights to 'see' a locust's wings in flight in slow- mo.  The reactions of particular individuals were alone VERY entertaining. From the experience of previous excursions, I was expecting our guides to drone on and on while we meticulously took notes in our books or what not. But yes we actually DID do a lot of hands on work *cheers*. Ah yes, I HAVE to mention The Graffiti Tunnel, it's this epicly awesome tunnel in the university which actually ALLOWS you to graffiti on the walls =D. I wrote in big fat letters 'DANIEL WAS HERE  16/6/10' -feels so rebellious- Every millimeter of the tunnel was covered in graffiti, the floor, the steps, the walls, the roof, even the lights!

All in all I had a prreeetttyyy good day. How was the physics at USYD?
